Recognition for three of CV Life’s fantastic apprentices

CV Life is pleased to share the news three of our apprentices have been recognised for their hard work after being nominated for Most Promising Apprentice.

The nominations, which you can vote for now, come from further education provider Aspire as part of celebrations for National Apprentice Week which runs from 10 February to 17 February.

The three nominees are Chloe Morris, Level Three Community Sport and Health Officer, Billy Burman, Level Two Leisure Team Member, and Ava McAllister, Level Four Sports Coach.

Chloe has been nominated for her adaptability and leadership in her role at Alan Higgs Centre. Billy meanwhile always goes above and beyond, shows passion and pride in his work while always looking for ways to improve. Ava on the other hand has been lauded for her high standard of work and people skills.

Ava’s line manager, Luke Rippington, said: “Ava has made an incredibly impressive start. She has such passion and energy in everything she does and makes every room she walks into brighter.

“At a very young age, she shows great professionalism and ensures to complete every task to her best ability.”

Laura Williams, centre manager at Higgs, said of Billy: “Billy has an excellent attitude to work with the ability to work on his own initiative to a high standard.

“His friendly and approachable manner towards both employees and members is recognised and commented on in verbal feedback. He is an excellent team player who will always chip in to help the team. He has shown good leadership skills and a thirst to learn new skills.”

Talking of Chloe, Laura added: “In just three months, Chloe has demonstrated exceptional growth, adaptability, and leadership. Despite being new to the position, she has risen to the challenge of managing a fast-paced leisure centre that regularly hosts high-profile national events.

“With no prior management experience, Chloe quickly established herself as a capable and effective leader of a young team. She has fostered a positive and productive work environment, motivating her team to deliver a high service.”

Vikki Harlock, CV Life Training and Development Manager, said: “I am incredibly proud to see Ava, Billy and Chloe all nominated for these awards, it is proof of the passion and hard work that these apprentices continually show.

“I would also like to say a massive thank you to all our apprentice mentors who continually offer support and guidance to ensure all of our apprentices are able to perform and progress to the best of their abilities.”
