CVLife are currently seeking a passionate Spa Attendant to join the team to provide cover for holidays/absences, at the award winning Mana Spa, which is located at The Wave Destination Venue in the City Centre.

About the role:

Our Spa Attendants are the perfect example of how to deliver a luxury spa experience. You will deliver high standards in keeping with the Mana Spa ethos, contributing to the relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.

You will be an excellent team player, maintaining pride and attention to detail in your daily tasks. You will assist with the journey of the guests and members and be ready to deliver exceptional customer service.

As a Spa Attendant you will have excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality. You will be friendly, approachable and professional.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas in the Spa are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Your main duty is to ensure the cleanliness of the Spa. Duties include cleaning changing rooms, floors and heated areas. Our Spa Attendants ensure that all assigned daily cleaning tasks and schedules are met.

Job Description

Reporting to: Spa Manager

Scope

Coventry Sports Foundation and Culture Coventry Trust are operating as CV Life, so that the scope of this Job Description as a CV Life document extends to cover the employment contracts held with either Coventry Sports Foundation or Culture Coventry Trust.

Overall purpose and objective of the role

To deliver and ensure high standards of cleanliness within the spa are met, and to maintain all equipment, reporting any issues to the Spa Manager.

Main duties of the role:

  1. Deliver and maintain high standards of  cleanliness and serenity in all areas of the spa.
  2. To follow the daily cleaning checklist and carry out all cleaning tasks listed ensuring the facilities are of a high level of cleanliness.
  3. To carry out deep cleaning of the various spa areas, using the appropriate cleaning equipment to maintain the high standards of the spa.
  4. To manually clean Spa areas such as the changing rooms, floors and heated areas.
  5. Ensuring changing rooms are stocked with appropriate items (towels, etc), therapy rooms are stocked thoroughly, and repeatedly checked throughout the day.
  6. Ensure clean laundry is available at all times for restocking.
  7. Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  8. Assist with spa tours for day guests and member prospects.
  9. Assisting reception with welcoming clients when receptionist is unavailable.
  10. Making refreshments for clients throughout facility.          
  11. Assist spa therapists with room changeovers for treatments.
  12. Assist therapists with the close of a sale as and when needed.
  13. Provide accurate information about the city and surrounding attractions when asked by guests.
  14. Undertake daily operations including opening and closing procedures, facility inspections, and general facility maintenance.
  15. Undertake daily inspections of the facilities (for example sauna, steam) to be carried out every 30minutes and correct procedures to be followed.
  16. Stay up to date with current rates, rate changes and all promotions.
  17. Reports any incident or accident to the Spa Manager.
  18. Demonstrate sincere guest focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
