The Alan Higgs Centre, operated by CV Life, has proudly received a ‘Very Good’ rating in its recent Quest accreditation.
Quest is a Sport England-recommended Continuous Improvement Tool for leisure facilities in the UK. It is designed to measure how effective organisations are at providing customer service.
The rigorous assessment, which was conducted last month with the result announced this week, evaluates various aspects such as customer service, staff investment, adherence to quality frameworks, tackling inequalities, ensuring accessible facilities, safeguarding and plans to improve.
Laura Williams, the manager at the Alan Higgs Centre, said: “So much hard work and effort goes into the day-to-day running of the centre, so I’m thrilled and immensely proud of our team for attaining a ‘Very Good’ rating in the Quest review.
“Receiving this kind of recognition is truly a testament to our commitment to excellent customer service and staff development.”
Richard Parker, Quality Officer at CV Life, commended the achievement, saying: “Congratulations to everyone involved in securing the ‘Very Good’ result for the Alan Higgs Centre. It reflects not only our dedication within the facility but also the collaborative efforts of everyone involved.
“Maintaining and surpassing this standard is now our focus as we continue to serve our local communities and make our venues accessible for all.”
The news comes a few months after another CV Life venue, Moat House Community and Leisure Centre, were reviewed and awarded a ‘Good’ Quest rating.
With the Higgs and Moat House centres setting the bar, attention now turns to furthering excellence across all CV Life venues, building on the foundation of success achieved.
