Popular new sport available to play at Moat House now

A growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis has arrived in Coventry, with Moat House Community and Leisure Centre now offering Pickleball sessions to residents.

The sport is played on a smaller court using paddles and a perforated ball, making it accessible to people of all ages and abilities. It’s an ideal activity for those looking to stay active in a social and engaging way.

The sport is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK due to its simplicity and adaptability. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or someone looking to try a new activity, Pickleball provides a fun, low-impact way to improve fitness and coordination.

Justin Hoskins, Venue Manager at Moat House Community and Leisure Centre, said:

“Pickleball is a fantastic addition to the activities we offer at Moat House. It’s easy to pick up, suitable for all skill levels, and brings people together.

“The sessions are aimed at people of all fitness levels and are particularly beneficial for those seeking a less strenuous way to stay active. The game’s social nature makes it a great choice for anyone looking to meet new people while improving their physical and mental well-being.

“We’re excited to see the community get involved and enjoy this new sport.”

Pickleball sessions are now available at Moat House Community and Leisure Centre, with equipment provided for new players.
