CV Life’s The Wave has recently hosted a series of successful Lifeguard Recruitment events to make sure the much-loved attraction is ready for what promises to be a busy few months,
The initial event held last month saw dozens of potential candidates showcasing their dedication to joining our team. Twenty candidates undertook the pool test, and impressively, nine succeeded on their first attempt. These nine have been booked onto our forthcoming Lifeguard course, marking the start of their careers with us. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that 25 attendees have been employed as Waterpark Assistants, gearing up for a bustling summer season.
On Friday, 120 recent exam-finishers descended on The Wave for a free pool and pizza event which doubled as a recruitment opportunity.
The event, designed as a post-exam treat, combined a fun session in the waterpark with food and refreshments, as well as discussions about current job roles within CV Life, sparking interest among a good number of attending students in future employment opportunities with us.
Nawfal Hassan, Venue Manager at The Wave, said: “The turnout and enthusiasm at our recent recruitment events have been fantastic. We’re thrilled to welcome these new team members, whose eagerness to take on key roles will undoubtedly enhance our operations and visitor experience this summer.
“We’re also quietly confident of recruiting a few more from the exam party event, which will really be a huge help for us when getting ready for the inevitable sold-out sessions that we expect over the holidays.”
