Meet Ellie, the CV Life fitness instructor whose colourful career includes treading the boards of London’s West End and entertaining families at Disney Land Paris.
Ellie has been performing since she was a toddler. She took her passions and turned them from hobbies into a career, performing professionally around the country.
Such was her love of dancing she used her skills to begin teaching Zumba to fellow students while studying, which in turn led her to seeking a career in nurturing others to take up dance.
Ellie said: “My passion for dance started at the age of three when I joined my first dance school. From there I appeared in West End shows and even Disney Land Paris.
“Then I began teaching Zumba in my first year at Loughborough University where I trained and volunteered for three years doing classes for fellow students on a weekly basis – I just loved every second.”
Ellie, who is also adept at cheerleading and pole fitness, used her experiences teaching during her uni days to begin a career with CV Life.
“My CV Life journey began when I graduated from university as it allowed me to continue my love of Zumba,” She explained. “Alongside Zumba classes across all of the CV gyms, I have taken part in care home classes, outdoor sessions for walking groups, promotional videos to support mental health and extra classes for world fitness days.”
Sharing what she loves about her role, Ellie said: “The best part about having the opportunity to teach Zumba for CV Life is all the amazing people I meet. It has the power to make so many people happy, and it is often the highlight of my week.
“I am always at my happiest when dancing and I’m so glad I get to share this with others.”
