Sports Coaching Charter

We pride ourselves on quality coaching standards and the development of coaches. Each coach involved in our coaching program has undergone a DBS check and has, or is working towards a recognised National Governing Body of Sport qualification. All coaches attend regular training seminars to refresh aspects of good practice, coaching techniques, child protection and sports development. The coaching team is provided with a wide range of equipment and materials, which are checked on a regular basis to ensure safety and suitability.

All coaching sessions are planned to ensure that each child receives maximum enjoyment and that every session has a guideline for coaching ratios. If you are not completely satisfied with the coaching standards delivered within your child’s session, then please contact your Sports Development Officer.

Extend your child’s camp session with an extra ‘8:00am – 9:00am’  time slot, to suit your needs. Limited spaces available.
 
Our Terms and Conditions:
  • Arrival Time: All children must arrive by 10:30am. Any child arriving after this time may be refused entry unless the camp has been notified in advance of lateness.
  • Lunch Provision: Lunch is included in the price for May Half Term.Each lunch will include crisps and a snack/fruit, along with water provided in a cup. Options available daily:
    • Ham sandwich
    • Cheese sandwich
    • Jam sandwich
  • Lunch Selection: Parents/guardians must inform the coach on arrival of their child’s lunch choice for that day.
  • Drinks: All children must bring a refillable drink bottle. Water refills will be available throughout the day.
  • Swimming Days: On designated swim days, children must bring:
    • Swimwear
    • Towel
    • Any additional personal items required after swimming Failure to bring these items may result in the child being unable to participate.
  • Behaviour Policy: We operate a strict behavioural policy. If a child’s behaviour falls below acceptable standards, parents/guardians will be contacted and may be required to collect their child early.
  • Nut-Free Policy: We are a nut-free camp. Please do not send children with any food containing nuts.
  • Cancellations (By Camp): If a session is cancelled by us, 48 hours’ notice will be given where possible, and a credit note will be issued.
  • Bookings & Refunds: All bookings are final and non-refundable. If required, a credit note may be issued to use on another camp day (subject to availability and notice).
