Swimming provides a great all-round workout by moving your whole body against the natural resistance of the water. It is an ideal physical activity for fitness and to stay healthy which is suitable for all ages and abilities. Families can take the opportunity to enjoy an activity together in the 25m pool.

Pool Updates:

  • Please note that our female only sessions may be covered by a male lifeguard.
  • On Saturday 18th May – Our 2:00pm – 2:45pm Public Swim Session will not be running.

Bank Holiday – Monday 6th May and Monday 27th May
Please note that our centre will opening from 9:00am – 6:00pm on these two bank holidays.
For Monday 27th May, please refer to our Half Term Timetable.

Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th May – British Kabaddi

Our car park will be busier than usual due to British Kabaddi taking place.
During this time, our afternoon swimming sessions on Saturday 4th May will be running on a different timetable, with sessions running as FREE. To book these sessions, these must be pre booked via calling reception 02476 665530.

(1) The whole pool may not be available during all sessions. (2) Must be a confident swimmer and be able to swim continuous laps. (3) Deep water only. (4) Male staff may be on duty during Ladies only sessions. (½) Half pool is used. ( ¼ ) One Quarter pool is used. *This session may be cancelled due to a party booking. Please check the website for further details.

  • All places are on a first come first served basis, bands will only be released 15 minutes prior the session.
  • On Bank Holiday, swim times may change.
  • The Foundation does not provide any flotation aids during public swimming sessions. Armbands can be purchased at Reception.
  • It is the responsibility of the adult who is attending with a child or a carer of someone in care to ensure they are supervised when attending these sessions.
  • Please ensure when attending with a child that you abide by our Adult to Child ratio, as per our swimming policy.
