Aquarius Enrolment Process and Policies

How to Enrol

  • Firstly, check the list on the relevant page to enquire the stage you are looking for is available
  • For Children’s lessons: you’ll be able to check what lessons and stages are available at Centre AT7, The Alan Higgs Centre and Xcel Leisure Centre via our online booking site.
  • Please note: Adults, Aquatots, Daytime Duckling (morning) and Female Only sessions are only available to enrol in-centre or by calling the centre.
  • Unsure how to enrol online? You can view our handy video below to help guide you through our booking system!

Please Note:

  • You will need to bring proof of address and bank details for the Direct Debit when booking in-centre or on your first lesson visit.
  • Limited spaces are available and spaces will be on a first come, first served/selected basis.
  • Online enrolments are only available for direct debit lessons at Centre AT7, The Alan Higgs Centre and Xcel Leisure Centre.
  • If the stage is listed as unavailable or not listed: this stage will not be able to book onto.
  • If you choose to book in-centre or over the phone: we highly recommend checking our online booking system before visiting or calling in-centre, as we’d hate you to waste your journey / time!
  • For the safety of our customers: the new minimum age for After School Ducklings is 3 years old for new enrolments.
  • There is a no refund policy: unless on medical grounds with evidence of a doctor’s note.

Aquarius Wristbands

In line with our Terms & Conditions, please ensure your child has their blue Aquarius Wristband with them when they attend their swimming lessons.

Entry will not be permitted without them.

Usage of Mobile Phones and Electronics:

We would like to remind parents/guardians that usage of electronic and recording devices, such as mobile phones, are not permitted on the viewing balcony, changing area or around poolside.

Photography and videos of swimming lessons is a breach of security and privacy, which is part of our safeguarding policy in all our centres. Please ensure you comply to this policy and respect other members. 

Failure to comply, you will be asked to leave.

During our lessons

Please ensure you follow below when attending lessons:

  • For everyone’s safety, the poolside area should be kept clear of spectators, pushchairs and belongings at all times during lessons.
  • Your child’s belongings should be left in the lockers provided, not poolside and not in the cubicles in the changing room.
  • Any belongings left poolside or in cubicles will be removed. 
  • Parents or Guardians must watch lessons from the viewing gallery or viewing area. In exceptional circumstances, if there is a specific reason why you need to be closer to your child, please discuss this with the teacher to seek approval and agree a safe area where you can watch your child from.
  • If for any reason; you need to be poolside; for hygiene and cleanliness, please use the blue over shoes provided.

Cancellation Form

If you wish to cancel your child’s membership for any reason, you can either visit us in-centre and complete the cancellation form at reception or you can now fill out our new online form by visiting the link below:

The form requests a reason for cancellation. This helps us to gather feedback and address any issues raised, so we can improve our services at the swim school.

Please note that once you have cancelled your child’s swimming lessons, they will be removed from the register.

Once you have cancelled your child’s swimming membership at the swim school, they will no longer be able to attend lessons. If you wish to re-enrol your child back into the swim school, please visit reception to set up a new monthly direct debit payment.
