CV Life installs delivery lockers across leisure venues

CV Life has introduced InPost parcel lockers at two of its venues, offering a convenient and secure way for the local community to collect and drop off parcels.

The lockers, which are fully automated and available 24/7, are already being used by visitors who value the flexibility of choosing their own collection and drop-off times. With no capital or maintenance costs for CV Life, the initiative supports the organisation’s green strategy and is bringing additional benefits, including increased footfall and convenience for visitors, as well as a much appreciated extra source of income.

The scheme, which is already in use at Alan Higgs, Centre AT7 and Xcel Leisure Centre, was the idea of CV Life HR Administrator Sarah Kendall, who worked closely with the operations team to bring the plan to life.

Sarah said: “I’m a keen online shopper and I quite often use similar lockers. When I realised how much they improve convenience and reduce environmental impact, I thought they’d be a perfect fit for CV Life. It’s fantastic to see them in place and being used by our community. On a personal level, it also means I can now pick up my online shopping while at work!”

Lynne Bowell, Head of HR at CV Life, added: “These parcel lockers are proving to be an excellent addition to our facilities. They offer convenience for the community while also supporting our sustainability goals. We’re pleased to see them attracting new visitors who are also exploring what else we have on offer

“I also think it’s fantastic Sarah has shown this initiative and felt comfortable pitching the idea and seeing it through to fruition.”

The lockers, which range in size from small to large, were installed in collaboration with InPost, who covered all installation and maintenance costs.
