Mana Spa to defend Spa of the Year title in upcoming national beauty awards

Mana Spa is set to defend its title in an upcoming national beauty awards.

The popular venue was crowned Spa of the Year in the English Hair & Beauty Awards 2023 last spring and has been nominated for the same category again for the 2024 awards.

It is hoped they can secure enough votes to keep the title here in Coventry.

Spa manager Rachel Brooks said: “I’m really happy we’ve been nominated for the Spa of the Year award for the second consecutive year at the English Hair and Beauty Awards.

“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to providing exceptional wellness experiences and highlights the dedication of our talented team in creating a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation for our lovely customers.”

Based in a quiet corner of The Wave, Mana Spa manages to maintain an air of tranquillity and calmness despite its busy city centre location.

Part of the Spa’s continued success and national recognition may lie in the fact Rachel and her team continue to find new and innovative services and treatments which really sets them apart.

As well as your standard spa treatments, Mana also offers oncology treatments for people living with cancer.

To add to this, next month Rachel and team will launch Temple Spa treatments, specifically aimed at people going through the menopause.

Discussing this innovative approach to beauty, Rachel added: “We like to ensure our spa is inclusive to all, which was why we went through extensive training to be able to offer oncology treatments.

“Now we’re partnering with Temple Spa we will also be able to offer menopause treatments, specifically created to support people going through that change.

“We believe all customers should be treated equally, and we are thrilled to be able to help support those who are most in need of relaxation.

“Instead of turning customers away or demanding a doctor’s note, which is fairly common in our industry, all of our therapists are trained to treat those with certain medical conditions ensuring they receive high-quality treatment with care and adaptations for their condition.”

A Spokesperson for the English Hair & Beauty Awards 2024: said: “We had an outstanding response from the public who went behind our nomination process and put forward tried and tested beauty professionals that deserve recognition.

“The awards remark the strength, skill and innovation of those who have shown excellent commitment to customer satisfaction and have changed the industry’s landscape by introducing innovative treatments and services, building extremely close and trusted relationships with their clients.

“We congratulate all the finalists for their remarkable achievements and wish them the best of luck.”

Mana Spa will find out if they will be crowned winner and take the trophy home at an elegant ceremony that will take place at the Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham on Sunday the 28 April.
