Sport Fest to make welcome return to Coventry this summer

Coventry’s much-loved Sports Fest event is set to return with six days of free activities this summer.

As always, Sports Fest will feature a wide range of sports and wellbeing activities that are suitable for all ages and abilities.

The Coventry City Council event is delivered in partnership with CV Life. Local sports clubs and organisations will be in attendance, showcasing their skills and offering opportunities to get involved along with sport National Governing Bodies.

Cricket, laser tag, archery, augmented reality games, dance, and table tennis are all on the schedule for the week plus much more.

Councillor Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport, said: “Sports Fest is a major highlight of Coventry’s summer events calendar and is loved by residents across the city.

“The event is completely free to attend and covers many different sports and activities suitable for all ages and skill levels.

“Previous Sports Fest events have attracted thousands of residents and visitors. Make sure you add the dates to your diary and join us in the city centre.”

Steve Wiles, Chief Operations Officer at CV Life, said: “We’re thrilled to be part of Sports Fest again this year. This event promises to be fantastic, and we’re looking forward to seeing many smiling faces and families enjoying the activities. “Local clubs and organisations will offer a wide range of engaging activities suitable for all ages and abilities. We hope to see a great turnout for a week of free outdoor fun and to get many people active this summer holiday.”
