Xcel celebrates first year anniversary of Biocircuit

Xcel Leisure Centre marked the first anniversary of its state-of-the-art Biocircuit Technogym equipment this week with a celebration event attended by members, staff, and guests.

The day featured a lively atmosphere with a specially made birthday cake, fitness demonstrations, and exclusive offers for new and existing customers.

Biocircuit, a modernistic system that tailors workouts to individual needs with the swipe of a membership band, has become a popular feature at the centre over the past year with membership currently sitting around 200. Xcel Leisure Centre remains the only venue in the Midlands offering this advanced fitness technology, which has proven effective for a wide range of users, including experienced gym-goers, older members, and those managing health conditions.

Simon Blay, Health and Fitness Operations Manager, said: “We’re thrilled with the positive response we’ve had since introducing Biocircuit. The technology has truly transformed the way our members approach fitness, offering a tailored and efficient experience that works for everyone.

“Throughout the first year we’ve seen a huge array of different kinds of people using the system and so many of them have been on a health journey that wouldn’t have been possible with Biocircuit – see firsthand just what kind of impact it can have in comparison to traditional equipment is really interesting.

“So this celebration is a great opportunity to thank our members for embracing this innovative equipment and making it such a success. We’re excited to see how Biocircuit continues to support our goal of promoting health and wellbeing in the community.”
