Enjoy swimming in our stunning 25m lane only pool at The Wave. With 4 lanes available, these are available all day, every day, with 2 hours free parking. Just type your registration at reception as you leave.

Please note: The pool is dedicated for lane only swimming, and is open to the public and Lifestyles members. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Lifestyles members can access the pool for free as part of their membership package. Please bear in mind that this pool is for lane only swimming so you will need to be able to swim unaided.

Swimming provides a great all-round workout by moving your whole body against the natural resistance of the water. It is an ideal physical activity for fitness and to stay healthy which is suitable for all ages.

Tuesday 31st March & 7th April 6:30am - 9:00pm
Wednesday 1st April & 8th April 6:30am - 9:00pm
Thursday 2nd April & 9th April 6:30am - 9:00pm
Fridays 3rd April & 10th April 6:30am - 8:00pm (9am - 6pm on Friday 3rd April)
Saturday 4th April & 11th April 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday 5th April & 12th April 9:00am - 6:00pm
Notes:

1) The whole pool may not be available during all sessions. (2) Must be a confident swimmer and be able to swim continuous laps. (3) Deep water only. (4) Male staff may be on duty during Ladies only sessions. (½) Half pool is used. ( ¼ ) One Quarter pool is used. *This session may be cancelled due to a party booking. Please check the website for further details.

  • All places are on a first come first served basis, bands will only be released 5 minutes prior the session.
  • On Bank Holiday, swim times may change.
  • The Foundation does not provide any flotation aids during public swimming sessions. Armbands can be purchased at Reception.
  • It is the responsibility of the adult who is attending with a junior or a carer, who is only there assist, someone in care to ensure they are supervised when attending these sessions.
  • Please ensure when attending with a child that you abide by our Adult to Child ratio, as per our swimming policy.
